Today, you will embark on an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale Forest. After a briefing at the park headquarters, you will head into the forest with experienced guides to locate the chimpanzee families. The highlight of your safari awaits – gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers. You will be assigned to a gorilla family and given guidelines on how to conduct yourself during the trek.
Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you will hike through the dense forest in search of the gorillas. The trek can be challenging, but the reward is immense. Spending an hour with these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is an experience that will stay with you forever. After the trek, return to the lodge to relax and share your experiences. Later, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Nairobi, Kenya. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Nairobi.
Today, we journey to the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley, offering stunning views of the escarpments and the valley floor. Upon arrival in Maasai Mara, check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to explore the reserve’s abundant wildlife, including the famous Big Five. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
