Your safari begins with your arrival at Entebbe International Airport. You will be warmly welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. After checking in, take some time to relax and recover from your journey. If time permits, you can explore the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or take a leisurely stroll along the shores of Lake Victoria. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast, we set off for Kibale Forest National Park, known for its rich biodiversity and population of chimpanzees. The drive takes you through picturesque landscapes, including tea plantations and rural villages. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy lunch. Today, you will embark on an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale Forest. After a briefing at the park headquarters, you will head into the forest with experienced guides to locate the chimpanzee families. Observing these intelligent primates in their natural habitat is a thrilling experience.
In the afternoon, take a guided walk through Bigodi Swamp, a community-run conservation project. The swamp is home to a variety of bird species, primates, and unique flora. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most popular wildlife destinations. The journey offers stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains and the Kazinga Channel. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to explore the park’s diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, and antelopes. Upon arrival in Bwindi, check into your lodge and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure. Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
The highlight of your safari awaits – gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers. You will be assigned to a gorilla family and given guidelines on how to conduct yourself during the trek.
Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you will hike through the dense forest in search of the gorillas. The trek can be challenging, but the reward is immense. Spending an hour with these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is an experience that will stay with you forever. After the trek, return to the lodge to relax and share your experiences. After breakfast, we drive back to Entebbe. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time to relax or explore more of Entebbe. Later, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Nairobi, Kenya. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Nairobi.
Today, we journey to the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley, offering stunning views of the escarpments and the valley floor. Upon arrival in Maasai Mara, check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to explore the reserve’s abundant wildlife, including the famous Big Five. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara National Reserve on game drives. The reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, and the annual wildebeest migration (depending on the season).
