Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, or simply relax and recover from your journey.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After an early breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area. The journey takes you through the lush countryside, passing traditional villages and picturesque landscapes. You will have a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience, a rare opportunity to see these magnificent creatures up close.
Upon arrival at Murchison Falls, you will check into your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening. The park is renowned for its dramatic Murchison Falls, where the Nile River plunges through a narrow gorge, creating a spectacular waterfall.
Day 3: Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
The fifth day of your safari is dedicated to tracking the lively and intelligent chimpanzees of Kibale National Park. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers. Kibale National Park is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees, making it one of the best places in the world for chimpanzee tracking.
The tracking experience can last anywhere from 2 to 5 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees. As you trek through the dense forest, you’ll also have the opportunity to spot other primate species such as the red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobus, and the rare L’Hoest’s monkey. The park is also a haven for birdwatchers, with over 375 bird species recorded.
Once you find the chimpanzees, you will spend an hour observing them in their natural habitat. Watching these intelligent creatures interact, groom each other, and play is a truly mesmerizing experience. After the tracking, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you can opt for a guided nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, located near Kibale National Park. This community-based project is an excellent opportunity to see more primates, birds, and butterflies while supporting local conservation efforts.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On the sixth day, you will head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular and diverse wildlife reserve. The park is famous for its stunning scenery, including the Rwenzori Mountains, the Kazinga Channel, and vast savannah plains. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George to Lake Edward. The channel is a magnet for wildlife, and you can expect to see large herds of elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and a variety of bird species. Day 7: Game Drive and Departure
Your final day begins with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This game drive takes you through the Kasenyi Plains, an area known for its high concentration of wildlife. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and then begin your journey back to Entebbe. The drive back offers another opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Ugandan landscape. You will have a stopover for lunch and a chance to stretch your legs before continuing to Entebbe.
